LOCATION: LAGOS ISLAND
SUMMARY
Seeking to fill the position of an Account Officer in the Transportation Sector, which provides services for inter and intra-state travelers in Nigeria. He/She will be responsible for the overrall management of the company’s account records.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for keeping accounting records for branches.
- Responsible for expenditure, budget allocaton, and funds management.
- Maintaining ledger accounts.
- Confirm that branch remittances are credited to bank accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare, and monitor repayment schedule for all recievables.
- Preparations of payment vouchers and maintaining a subsidiary ledger for purchases/VAT.
- Reconciliation of accounts for all parks.
- Preparation of branch performance report.
Requirement and Skills
- Minimum of HND /BS.c in Accounting.
- Minimum of 1 year work experience in relevant field.
- Experience in the use of accounting software.
- Professional Qualification in Accounting will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in Using Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
SALARY: N70,000
